It will take you to the Christian Catacombs on the Appian Way and some of the most important Churches in Rome: St. Mary the Mayor and St. John’s in Lateran and the Church of the Domini Quo Vadis. Here you will have the once in a lifetime opportunity to admire the footprints of the risen Jesus that appeared to St. Peter’s when he was escaping from Rome before his capture!
St. John in Lateran will be the first stop along your Christian Tour. It is an Archbasilica and the most relevant among the four Basilicas of Rome. You will proceed towards the Appian way, where you will find both Catacombs and Domine of Quo Vadis Church. This Church is a must see for every Christian since here St. Peter had a vision of Jesus on his way to crucifixion.
Catacombs, instead, are an ancient underground cemetery where the first christians were buried. Catacombs are a religious site, therefore our private guide will not be able to give you explanation once inside it. This is why she will tell you all about it along your way towards Catacombs.
