Journeys To Italy have a strict cancellation policy, that is outlined below:
Cancellation given one week prior to arrival: 20% PENALTY.
Cancellation given 4 days prior to arrival: 30% PENALTY.
Cancellation after 3 days prior to arrival: FULL AMOUNT PENALTY.
ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS: Pay Pal Visa and Mastercard.
In under any circumstances, we do not refund Skip The Line tickets.
Tours with private cars and minivan are provided for a minimun of two hours.
During the tour in the city in might occur that due to traffic reason or other inconvenients above the company control the car and driver might extend the lenght of the tour in order to complete the itinerary.
In case additional time is necessary our guide will inform you and you will decide directly on site with your guide whether you wish to extend and pay the additional time for your driver and eventually guide.
For private teansfer from the airport or from the train station in case of delay there might be a charge per extra hours waiting.
Last Minute Booking
Please note that if you have contacted us earlier asking for specific dates but have not confirmed those dates, these specific dates have not been reserved for you and therefore may no longer be available. We will do our best to satisfy any last minute request but obviously based on availability.
Please take into account that confirming a specific service the day before your departure date is a bit risky, since we do have a limited staff and availability.
Terms and Conditions
Please note that our service is solely confirmed when the potential customer has received an email confirming services along with the details of the tour date and time. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please realize that the service has not been confirmed. We advise you to contact us immediately for further clarification.
High Season/Red Season- March / November
During high or red season, we choose not to do variations on the programs that have been previously decided and agreed upon by our clients. We may, however, do some specific variations requested by our clients, but based on our immediate availability.
During High/Red Season-March/ November
Any reservation that has been requested for the Coliseum, the Vatican Museums, the Roman Forum and or any other museum will be based on the actual number of confirmed participants of the confirmed service by Journeys to Italy. To any variation previously requested by the customer, Journeys to Italy will advise you whether or not the request can be fully satisfied.
Timetables of our main tours & Transfers
Our driver/guide will arrive before the confirmed pick-up time, which has been CONFIRMED through the Confirmation Email sent by JTI. We kindly ask our customers to avoid calling the help desk number shortly before the confirmed pick-up since we can assure you that punctuality is our number one priority!
Please note: Journeys to Italy reminds travel customers that wallets, passports and jewellery of any size or shape cannot be left inside any of our vehicles during the tours, even if the vehicles have been parked inside private garages, we strongly suggest that the above named items be carried upon your person and if, by chance this suggestion is declined, journeys to italy shall not be held liable in case of theft, loss or damage to any of these items.
No verbal/phone agreements are taken in consideration. For a tour to be confirmed you must have a detailed contract that we’ll send you only once all is agreed.
A phone call is just a way to get information about us; getting to talk to us doesn’t mean a tour is confirmed. For the tour to be confirmed, we must send you a contract with all the details of your tour.
Tours start time is the moment you meet your driver or guide.
According to the Italian and international privacy laws, your personal information is extremely confidential and will NOT be given or distributed to any third party.
In Italy, by Law, drivers are NOT authorized to accompany you while you are actually visiting INSIDE museums or monuments or Churches: they will be waiting outside with the vehicle; however they will give you information on the places where you’ll stop and so about the sights you’ll see on your way to the main attractions, all of this with Journeys to Italy staff typical Italian courtesy and “savoir faire”.
Therefore, for a more complete experience and to make the most of the time you are going to spend in Italy, choose to give value to your tour and book a private licensed guide made available by Journeys to Italy. Journeys to Italy offers a team of carefully selected expert local LICENSED TOUR GUIDES. In this case you will have your licensed guide walking with you INSIDE each attraction during the tour.
