Our Vatican Museums and Colosseum tour will enable you to dedicate almost a full day to sightseeing the Eternal city and you will discover Rome’s highlights in a day!

This tour offers you both the Vatican Museums, experience, with pre-reserved access and the visit of Ancient Rome with a special focus on the Colosseum. The average number of visitors is 18 people but the group might reach a maximum number of 30 people participants. You will be accompanied by a professional enthusiastic tour guide who will show you first the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and then, in the afternoon, the Vatican highlights.  You will have pre-reserved access included to the Colosseum. It will be spectacular to be immersed in the morning in Ancient Roman Art thanks to your guide who will bring back to life the city of the Roman Emperors and in the afternoon in Renaissance art discovering Michelangelo.

Our tour includes access to the  Colosseum: you will follow the footsteps of the Gladiators.  You will go to see regular rings discovering the Colosseum and its amazing stories. You will be able to project yourself in the Ancient Rome and imagine how gladiators felt during the battles that occurred before the crowds. You will continue to the Palatine Hill , where the roman emperors lived starting from Augustus, Nero and Domitian. The final part of the tour will end in the  Roman Forum where the ancient public life used to take place. You will end the tour right in front of the Tomb of Julius Caesar facing the Capital Hill and the Senator House.

In the afternoon, you will meet our team with the sign Journeys To Italy and our enthusiastic guide at our office located a few steps away from Vatican Museums and get ready for this amazing tour. To make sure the tour is comfortable you will be provided with personal headsets to listen carefully to your guide without losing interesting details on what you will see and a printed picture with a description of the Ceiling and the Last Judgement by Michelangelo. You will enter with skip-the-line tickets the Vatican Museums going through  the security check . Your Vatican experience will start with the Vatican Galleries doing a stop in a panoramic terrace from where you will enjoy the view of the Vatican Gardens and the Dome of St. Peters’ designed by Michelangelo when he was 72 years old. You will continue along the Vatican Galleries such as the Galleries of the Candelabra, Tapestry and the Geographical Maps where you will appreciate the variety of colors and the vastness of the maps displayed and painted 500 years ago!  Our guide is a great art expert but also a very passionate person that will be able to make your Vatican tour a fantastic moment. If you come to Rome the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum for sure cannot be missed!. Only after a detailed explanation on Michelangelo Ceiling and Last Judgement, you will enter, into the Sistine Chapel, due to the holiness of the site inside the Sistine Chapel speaking is forbidden. Once inside you will remain astonished by the outcome of Michelangelo’s talent.

Please note that due to the increasing in the security procedure to access to the Vatican museums there might be a little line in the priority entrance especially in peak days.

Please bring an Identification Document since it will be requested to access to the Colosseum and Vatican.

In case of mistake in writing your name and last name in your reservation, if the Colosseum access controllers denied the access due to the wrong name and last name we decline any responsability and NO REFUND will be provided
